Privacy Policy


“Drive-In-Sanity Services,” means the Services provided and made available by Drive-In-Sanity Films, LLC and its affiliates (collectively, “”,“Drive-In-Sanity”,“we”,“our”or“us”) in connection with your browsing and viewing of multimedia (“Content”) through Drive-In-Sanity websites, applications or other interfaces and platforms.  The Drive-In-Sanity Services also includes any other technologies, features, and content we may provide or use on the Drive-In-Sanity user interfaces.  This Policy is incorporated into the Drive-In-Sanity Terms of Use.  If you do not agree with the Policy or Terms of Use, please do not use the Drive-In-Sanity Services.  This Policy does not apply to any information acquired outside of or its affiliated Services.



Except as provided in the Privacy Policy, your information will not be sold without your consent and will be used for the following:

➢      To enable you to access the Drive-In-Sanity Services;

➢      To fulfill the purposes for which you submitted certain information;

➢      To provide, maintain, protect, develop and improve the Drive-In-Sanity Services, including through the use of statistical analysis;

➢      Subject to applicable laws and your consent, where legally required, to customize the content and advertisements you receive from us and our partners, which may be delivered to you or our partners and appear on the Drive-In-Sanity Services or the services (including websites and applications) of our partners;

➢      To communicate with you, including e-mail, text messages, social media and phone;

➢      Subject to applicable laws and your consent, where legally required, to offer you by mail, phone, email, text messages, social media or application notices regarding additional opportunities, promotions, functionality from us on our behalf, or from our partners or our advertisers including but not limited to the following industries: the entertainment industry as a whole (movies, television, music, gaming); automotive, vehicles, food, beverages, dining, conventions, concerts, nightlife, art, auction, collectibles, retail, clothing, jewelry, hobbies, toys, games, fun and trivia, travel and leisure, tourism, amusement parks, family and community organizations and events, telephony and telecommunications, computers, software, hardware, websites, applications, virtual reality, augmented reality, consumer electronics, news, media, publications and public relations.

➢      To prevent or detect a fraud, crime, Violation of our Terms of Use, or to otherwise protect the safety of us, our employees, affiliates and others;

➢      To conduct prize competitions, giveaways and promotions, as permitted by law; and

➢      To comply with our legal obligations

We may use aggregated and/or de-identified data or other data that does not constitute personal information under applicable laws for any purpose, including without limitation in statistical analysis to help us analyze patterns of use of Drive-In-Sanity Services.



Our site uses third-party services to collect non-personal information about visits to our website and services. Since this is a third-party service, we do not control the tools that collect this information, which is used to better understand how our website is being used.  This information is anonymous and does not identify specific individual users, but rather an IP address, browser, date/time stamps, referring pages, locations including general information such as the city, state, postal code or country associated with you IP address, and, if you agree, more specific location information that is provided through the GPS functionality on mobile devices used to access the Drive-In-Sanity Services, including advertising that is presented to you.  For example, if you provide a postal code that indicates that you live in a particular city, the Drive-In-Sanity Services may be customized with information, features, or advertisements specific to that city.  In order to do this, your location information may be passed along to our affiliates, agents, vendors or advertisers.  Options you have to control the automatic collection of location information are explained below under the heading of “COOKIES and GPS INFORMATION.” We may obtain information about you or your use of the Drive-In-Sanity Services from third parties and sources, such as our vendors, like web host providers and analytics providers for advertisers.  We may combine the information we automatically collected with information from public or third party sources.  You may give us permission to access your information, including personally identifiable information from services offered by third parties, including social media networks.  For example, to access the Drive-In-Sanity Services, you may choose to login via Facebook or link you Facebook account to the Drive-In-Sanity Services, which allows us to obtain information from your Facebook account, such as your friends or contacts, profile picture, birthdate, gender, or other profile-related information and any other information you have opted in to share with “everyone” on Facebook (or similar third party platform).  The information we obtain from such third party services depends on your account/privacy settings with those third parties and the third parties’ privacy policies, so be sure to refer to those policies and to adjust your settings to meet your preferences.  When you access the Drive-In-Sanity Services through social media networks and other third party platforms, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use the platforms you are authorizing us to collect, store and use the information we obtain from third party services in accordance with this Policy.  If we combine or associate information from other sources with personal information that we collect throughout the Drive-In-Sanity Services, we will treat the combined information as personal information in accordance with this Policy. Keep in mind that any information provided to us by a third party may also be subject to that third party’s privacy policy.



There is no registration needed to access However, to make a comment or leave information on a post, you may be required to register in order to do so. You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Drive-In-Sanity Services, or have the involvement, supervision, and approval of a parent or legal adult guardian. In certain jurisdictions, the age of majority may be older than 18, in which case, the user must satisfy that age in order to post or make comments.  While individuals under the age of 18 may utilize the service, they may do so only with the involvement, supervision, and approval of a parent or legal adult guardian.

You may be asked to verify your age, name, email address and other identifying information in order to register for the commenting and posting service, including but not limited to a phone number, mailing address (including postal code), birthday, password of your choice and telecommunications or satellite provider.  When you personalize your profile and use the features of the Drive-In-Sanity Services, we will collect any information you voluntarily submit such as a password or profile picture.

If you sign up for our mailing list newsletter or email us directly we will also have your email address and any other uniquely identifying information that you provide during that communication. Please remember that anything you post (eg. comments, photos, personal information) is made completely public, and therefore can be viewed, read and used by anyone viewing them. We are not responsible for controlling any personal information you choose to share through this feature. However, we reserve the right to delete any posts and comments that may incite unlawful behavior and/or be considered pornographic, bullying, offensive including but not limited to hate speech to any group, establishment or individual.



We use a third-party marketing company to offer our email newsletter mailing list. You are given the opportunity to sign up to receive communications from us via this method and will need to provide your email address to do so. There is an opportunity for you to provide other personally identifiable information as well, at your discretion. These communications will include updates on our site and stories, events, links, and any information we feel might be interesting to our users. If you would like to opt-out of these communications, there is an unsubscribe link at the footer of each newsletter, reply to the newsletter with the word Unsubscribe in the subject line, or by emailing us to Unsubscribe at [email protected].



Because we may use third party services to provide advertisements on our website, it is important to disclose that they may use web beacons or cookies to collect data as part of the ad serving process. When that process is in place, users may opt out of the use of these cookies by visiting the opt-out pages of those websites directly. Specific information will be included at the time that the advertising or affiliate service is implemented.  If you access the Drive-In-Sanity Services through a mobile device and you do not want your device to provide us with location tracking information, do not agree to allow your device to share this information with us or disable the GPS or other location-tracking functions on your device, provided your device allows you to do this.  Your device manufacturer may provide instructions on how to disable GPS or other location tracking functions.  If you initially consent to the collection of location information, you can subsequently stop our collection of location information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device or by uninstalling the application from your mobile device by following the standard uninstall process to remove applications from your device.  When you provide us with information about yourself, you may be given the option to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us or others.  You can change your mind about your preferences regarding direct marketing at any time by emailing [email protected]



We may provide links to third-party websites, advertisements, and applications that we do not have control over. Please note we are not responsible for the content, validity, privacy practices or policies of any websites, advertisements, and applications other than our own.  Any information you provide to those websites, advertisements, or applications is subject to the Privacy Policies on those websites, advertisements, and applications and is not covered by this Policy.  The ability to access information from third-party websites via Drive-In-Sanity Services is for you, the user’s convenience, and does not signify an endorsement of such third-parties, their products, services, locations or content they make available on Drive-In-Sanity Services or on their own websites or locations.
